Quality certification of goods and services in Ukraine:
- certification of goods and services for compliance with European and world quality standards

National system of voluntary certification of goods and services:
- since January 1, 2018, certification of goods and services has ceased to be mandatory in Ukraine
- the decision on certification is voluntary – the reason for certification may be the desire to confirm compliance with product quality requirements
- there are categories of products to which the requirements of a separate group of standards apply – the state technical regulations of Ukraine
- for such products, it is necessary to go through the procedure for assessing compliance with technical regulations and obtain a declaration of compliance – in this case, we can talk about the MANDATORY procedure for assessing compliance of products with the requirements of technical regulations
- for products imported into Ukraine, it is important to determine the requirements of national norms and standards – this will allow a decision to be made on the need to carry out certain measures to obtain permit documentation
- products exported from Ukraine require a full package of documentation confirming compliance with international requirements and quality standards
- a typical standard documentation package of a Ukrainian product manufacturer consists of the following regulatory documents: technical conditions (TU), certificate of confirmation of the existence of a quality system at the enterprise, sanitary and hygienic conclusion on products, laboratory test protocols, certificate of conformity or declaration of compliance with technical regulations
